Clear boundaries for a focused technology platform

1. UbiLimo’s role

UbiLimo provides technology for an independent chauffeur or private transport provider to create and present a payment request for a service already agreed directly with a passenger.

UbiLimo does not operate vehicles, provide transportation, assign chauffeurs or vehicles, dispatch vehicles, accept or confirm transport bookings, set fares, guarantee availability, or control fulfilment of the transport service.

2. Provider responsibilities

The provider is independently responsible for the transport service, including local licences, permits, vehicle compliance, insurance, service terms, fare agreement, request accuracy, availability, communication and fulfilment.

3. Passenger responsibilities

The passenger should verify the provider identity, journey details and complete amount before authorising payment. Questions about the underlying service should be addressed to the provider.

4. Payment availability and fees

Cards are supported in published eligible UbiLimo payment flows. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available where eligible. GrabPay has planned availability. Alipay and WeChat Pay are Coming Soon. Payment-method availability varies by market, provider account, device, transaction and payment-provider eligibility. Check the Payments and Availability pages for the current published scope.

Payment availability depends on the provider’s connected payment account, payment-provider eligibility, market activation, transaction rules and technical availability. UbiLimo does not guarantee that every applicant, payment method or transaction will be eligible or successful.

Payment-provider processing fees are separate from the UbiLimo platform fee and remain subject to the applicable payment provider, payment method, market and transaction.

UbiLimo charges a market-specific platform fee on successful payments. The applicable fee is published for each available market. Payment-provider processing fees apply separately. The UbiLimo platform fee is charged to the provider and is not a passenger payment-processing fee.

5. Acceptable use

UbiLimo may be used only for genuine services already agreed between provider and passenger. Misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, harmful or security-interfering use is prohibited.

6. Platform status

Features, payment methods and market availability may change over time. Availability is represented only according to the applicable published UbiLimo market and payment-method status.
