How it works

One clear payment sequence, with responsibilities kept separate

UbiLimo supports payment after the service and fare have already been agreed. It does not create or confirm the transport arrangement.

  1. 01

    Provider and Passenger agree directly

The independent Provider and Passenger agree the chauffeur service, fare, timing and other transport terms outside UbiLimo. UbiLimo does not create the transport-service agreement.

  2. 02

The Provider creates a Payment Request

The Provider records the already-agreed service details and amount, then creates a UbiLimo Payment Request for the Passenger to review.

  3. 03

    The Passenger checks the request

The Passenger reviews the Provider, service details, amount and any permitted payment-processing charge before taking action.

Where permitted, an applicable payment-processing charge may be shown before payment. The Passenger will always see the full amount before authorising a transaction.

  4. 04

    The Passenger authorises payment

At launch, payment may be authorised through an eligible method and processed through the Provider’s connected payment account.

Payment-method availability will depend on the Provider, transaction, location and payment-processing eligibility.

  5. 05

The Provider remains responsible for transport

The underlying chauffeur or limousine service remains the Provider’s responsibility, including availability, vehicle and chauffeur assignment, communication and fulfilment.

Important boundary

A Payment Request is not a booking confirmation

UbiLimo does not assign vehicles or chauffeurs, dispatch vehicles, confirm transport bookings, or guarantee transport availability.

Payment does not itself guarantee service availability unless the Provider has separately confirmed it.

Contact the Provider directly about service details, availability or fulfilment.
