FAQ

Straight answers about UbiLimo

Clear answers for providers, passengers, partners and reviewers.

What is UbiLimo?

A technology platform for independent chauffeurs and private transport providers to create, share and monitor payment requests for transport services already agreed directly with passengers.

Does UbiLimo find passengers or arrange journeys?

No. The provider already has the passenger and agrees the journey and fare externally.

Is UbiLimo a ride-hailing or booking marketplace?

No. It is not ride-hailing, a booking marketplace, a transport operator, a dispatch system, fleet-management software or a travel agency.

How much does it cost?

UbiLimo charges a market-specific platform fee on successful payments. The applicable fee is published for each available market. Payment-provider processing fees apply separately.

How does the passenger pay?

Cards are supported in published eligible UbiLimo payment flows. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available where eligible. GrabPay has planned availability. Alipay and WeChat Pay are Coming Soon. Payment-method availability varies by market, provider account, device, transaction and payment-provider eligibility. Check the Payments and Availability pages for the current published scope.

Can a payment-processing fee be shown to the passenger?

Payment-provider processing fees are separate from the UbiLimo platform fee and remain subject to the applicable payment provider, payment method, market and transaction.

Does every provider qualify for a connected payment account?

No. The payment provider determines onboarding, KYC and account eligibility.

Where is UbiLimo available?

UbiLimo is available in selected verified markets. Check the Availability page for the current status in your country.

Who is responsible for licences, permits, vehicle compliance and insurance?

The independent provider supplying the transport service.

Does UbiLimo issue the provider’s tax invoice?

UbiLimo does not make that claim. Providers remain responsible for their own tax and invoicing obligations.

Can I apply before provider access is available in my market?

Yes. Where access is being prepared, providers can apply for access. Where UbiLimo is not yet available, providers can register interest. A submission does not guarantee market activation, provider onboarding or payment-account approval.
